Core Ruleset
iDUEL matches use three vectors: Attack, Strategize, and Defend. Attack defeats Strategize. Strategize defeats Defend. Defend defeats Attack. Matching vectors result in a draw unless the active mode defines otherwise.
Board Authority
The Board records submitted vectors, timing, result, score, decision source, and match state. Board records are the authoritative source for match outcome and competitive history.
Human Agency
A human role must be submitted by the human participant. Server fallback and authorized Agent systems must not silently submit for a human role.
Trust and Rogue
When Vanguardian intent is provided and the Agent submits a final vector, the Board may classify the relationship as Trust, Rogue, or Unknown depending on whether a comparable intent vector was supplied.
